The rubbing fastness of textiles detection is divided into wet rubbing fastness and dry rubbing fastness. Make reasonable dyeing and finishing process to make sure dyes can combined with fivers fully, and fully penetrate inside the fiber to makes it not come to the surface of the fiber, after dyeing , it’s better to fully wash float color.
Good singeing, permeable agent and mercerizing, which are all beneficial to improvement the wet rubbing fastness.
Plus dedicated smoothing dye fixing crosslinker can fasten the dye and fiber combination, reducing the surface friction of textile, while makes the surface of the fiber form a dye-coated flexible membrane, so that the dye is not easy to peel off during friction, wet rubbingfastness generally increase from 0.5 to 1.0.
Many factors affect the rubbing fastness of colored textiles, it should be taken from the dye selection, dyeing and finishing, reasonable use of special fixing agent to take action. In short, control colored textiles floating residues, reducing the surface of the friction coefficient, improve the combined fastness of dyes and fiber, they are all the most important measures.
