Design requirements
 
Metal accessories finishing: all metal accessories in the finishing may not contain spots, nodules, sharp edges.
 
Metal parts: fire clothing in any metal clothing buckle or metal components shall not be directly in contact with the human body.
 
Performance requirements
 
The fabric used in the fire suit shall be tested for thermal protection performance, which shall have a discontinuous thermal protection rating of not less than 6.0 and a continuous thermal protection performance rating of not less than 3.0. The fabric and reflective tape used in the fire suit shall be tested for flame retardancy. The length of the fabric and the retroreflective belt shall be not more than 100 mm (4 in.) And the duration of the burn-in shall not be more than 2 seconds and shall be free of melting drop. The fabrics used in fire protection clothing shall be tested for thermal stability only in addition to the manufacturer's label, and the heat shrinkage in any direction shall not exceed 10%.
 
Fabrics used in fire protection clothing, other textile materials, reflective strips and items used in fireproofing other than labels, badges, mezzanines, collar linings, elastic bands, clothing fasteners, hooks and stickers should be used in their original state Under the heat resistance test, should be no melting, no dripping, no splash, no spark. Labels and badges are not required for heat resistance testing. Sandwich, collar lining, elastic band, clothing buckle, hook and sticky, without direct contact with the human body, no need for heat resistance test.
 
The sample fire suit should be tested under the complete deflagration of the flame, as a performance test of the material, the average predicted body burn grade should not be higher than 50.
 
Sewing thread requirements: fire clothes in all the sewing thread, in addition to embroidery, should be made of fire fiber, and its sewing thread should be heat resistance test, should be no melting.
 
Metal accessories requirements: fire protection clothing used in metal accessories, including but not limited to buttons, zippers, clothing buckle, should be in their original state of heat resistance test, should be no melting, no dripping, no splash, No spark, and keep its role.
 
Labeling requirements: The labels used in the fire suit should be tested for the durability of their print quality and should be kept clear.
