Detection method and its criteria:
Judging criteria: The test specimen cannot be burned to its top or edge.
No holes may be formed in the test sample.
The test sample shall not have a burning droplet or a drop of the droplet.
The flame retarding time should be less than or equal to 2 seconds.
The flame retardant time should be less than or equal to 2 seconds.
Test method: Before carrying out the short-lived spread test, it should be dissolved in water with 1g/l IEC detergent according to the method described in ISO6330, then put into the washing machine and put the sample in the machine for 5 times, and then immediately dry. If there is no special provision on the instructions for use, the washing should be carried out at 60 ° C according to Method 2A and the drying should be carried out according to Method E (cylinder drying).
According to ISO3175, dry-cleaning fabrics should be labelled and only dry-cleaned 5 times. If the fabric or suit is unlabeled, the fabric will be tested separately after 5 washes and dry cleaning.
The fabric is pretreated according to the method, and then the ignition test is performed according to the method of EN532.
First, the fabric size change requirements: according to the requirements of EN340, the shrinkage deformation of the fabric after 5 washes, in accordance with the instructions of the garment factory, the warp direction shrinkage rate should not exceed 3%, the zonal dimension shrinkage rate should not exceed 3%.
Inspection operation process and preparation
Preparation of test samples (mainly single-layer fabric): six test samples (200 ± 1) mm X width (160 ± 1) mm, three of which are radially cut, and the other three are weft cut And installed on the cloth clip.
Humidity and temperature adjustment: The test sample shall be placed in an environment of relative humidity (65 ± 5%) and temperature (20 ± 2) °C for at least 24 hours for state adjustment. After the state is adjusted, if the test is not performed immediately, the state-adjusted test sample should be placed in a fully enclosed container. Take the swatch from the fully enclosed container or from the adjustment environment and start testing within 2 minutes.
Adjustment of the test environment: The test is carried out in an environment where the relative humidity is between 15 and 80% between 10 and 30 ° C, and the rate of air flow through the surface of each test sample is 0, 2 seconds at the beginning of the test.
The operating position of the igniter is such that the igniter is at a perpendicular angle to the surface of the test sample such that the central axis position of the igniter is 20 mm above the lowest row of lancets and should be in line with the vertical centerline position of the test specimen. Make sure the distance between the igniter and the surface of the test sample is (17 ± 1) mm.

Flame adjustment (the distance the horizontal flame touches the specimen): The igniter is placed in a vertical rest position, ignited and preheated for at least 2 minutes to maintain a flame length of approximately 40 mm. Move the igniter to the horizontal rest position and adjust the flame horizontal length to (25 ± 2) mm.
Flame position: The igniter moves from the initial rest position to the horizontal position, confirming whether the flame can reach the specimen in this position.
Note: The distance the flame touches the specimen should be checked periodically.
Detection operation process
Install the test instrument and attach the test sample cloth to the test sample holder. The ignition burned on the swatch surface for 10 seconds. Observe and record the following conditions (please refer to the correct flammability test standard)
a) The nature of the test sample and the sequential number of each sample in the test sample composed of the multilayer composite fabric,
b) which layer of the test sample is ignited with the test flame,
c) For any ignition source, observe if the flame's outermost boundary touches the upper or vertical edge of the test specimen.
d) Is there a hole formation,
e) burning droplets or melting droplets,
f) whether the flame retardant (usually from the carbonization zone) spreads to the breakage,
g) the ignition time is accurate to the nearest second,
Note: The ignition delay time of less than one second should be recorded as 0 seconds.
h) The flame retardant time should also be accurate to the nearest second.
Note: The flame retardant time of less than one second should be recorded as 0 seconds.
Test report
The test report should include the following records:
a) the reference standard file number of the test method,
b) For each test sample, judge by applying the correct flammability performance criteria and list the records as required.
Part 1: Basic requirements
Detection method and its criteria:
judgement standard:
a) No ignition shall spread to the edge of the fabric or the upper end of the fabric after ignition of any test specimen.
b) No holes should be formed after ignition in any test sample.
c) There should be no burning droplets or falling of the melt in any test sample.
d) The ignition delay time shall be less than or equal to 2 seconds.
e) The flame retardant time shall be less than or equal to 2 seconds.
Second, the negative impact of metal droplets falling behind: According to the requirements for testing, the clothing assembly must have at least 15 drops of metal droplets falling.
Detection method:
Sample preparation
The sample is tested to detect the fabric as the main body, and the required quantity and size must be consistent with the relevant detection methods. If there are no special regulations, the test is based on the test samples received.
Pretreatment process of textile fabrics
Test samples are washed or dry cleaned as required on the label, and then tested for performance on textile fabrics and their garment assemblies for special safety precautions.
The sample was washed five times with 1 g/L IEC detergent soft water in a front loading horizontal drum washer, and finally dried according to the method specified in ISO:6330:1984.
There are no other special provisions in the label. The water wash is applied by the 2A method, the temperature is controlled at (60 ± 3) ° C, and then the sample is dried by the method E (drum drying).
The test samples were thoroughly cleaned and identified with an identification mark, and only 5 dry cleanings were carried out in accordance with ISO 3175. If the fabric or clothing has no identification label, the fabric should be tested separately after five washes and five dry cleanings.
Temperature and humidity adjustment
Unless otherwise specified in the test method, the textile test piece shall be placed in an environment of temperature (20 ± 2) ° C and relative humidity (65 ± 5)% for at least 24 hours, and the leather product shall be placed under the same conditions for at least 7 days, and then Test separately. Immediately after the relative humidity and temperature adjustment in this environment, the test sample was removed from the environment and tested within 5 minutes.
Breaking strength
The breaking strength of textile fabrics is judged in the transverse and latitudinal directions of the fabric according to the requirements of ISO5081. (The minimum breaking strength should be 300 Newtons)
Tear strength
In the lateral and latitudinal direction of the test sample, the tear strength of the textile fabric is judged according to the requirements of the A1 method in ISO4674:1977 version, and the test is performed in two directions at right angles on the plane of the fabric and according to ISO3374. It is required to judge the tear strength of leather products. (The minimum tear strength should be 15 Newtons)
Evaluation of shrinkage rate (size change)
According to the dry cleaning method or the water washing method, the shrinkage rate of the textile fabric is judged according to the ISO5077. (shrinkage rate is not more than 3%)
Assessment of the spread of flame burning
After the test sample is washed or dry-cleaned according to the prescribed method, the combustion spread property of the fabric is tested by the method of EN532.
Effect of falling metal droplets on fabric properties
After the test sample is washed or dry cleaned, the effect of falling metal droplets is evaluated in accordance with EN348.
If the average drop of the drop on the ten test samples is between 15 and 15.5 drops, then the second ten swatch test is to be carried out. The grading class should be based on the average of the twenty swatch tests.
