A combination of nylon’s abrasive resistance, elasticity hand feeling and cotton’s water-absorbing quality, comfort and nice rebound resilience, the cotton/nylon elastic interwoven fabric is loved by customers. Following are the cotton/nylon elastic interwoven fabric pretreatment process:
1. preshrink width
Because of the big textile width, only eliminate the tension of textile can recover elastic force, so use hot water to preshrink the textile width, if not reach intended target, the textile should be preshrunk again.
2. refining and bleaching
After shrinkage, the textile temperature is high, bleaching direct will affect the textile elasticity, so  in the machinery usually accept refining and bleaching combination mode. 
After preshrinking, drying and cooling, then enter into cold pad batch open width, alkali-padding and keep rolling. Once alkali-padding, put the rolling textile to cold heap chamber, normal temperature takes less damage to elasticity. Satin fabric is easy to crimping, clip on the bamboo clip is necessary
 when control tension.
3. setting
Setting is the key process to control width and stabilize dimension. The setting quality directly affect the finished product shrinkage rate. The setting tempreture can't be too high or low, too high tempreture will affect the nylon elasticity, too low will affect the shrinkage. Because the highest affordable tempreture of nylon is 190℃, so the setting temperature is 190℃.
4. mercerization
The mercerization function of cotton/nylon elastic faric is to remove the surface hairiness, makes the fabric surface clearing, with the singing machine, can not reach this effect. The clipless mercerizing machine not only can remove the hairness, improve the dye-uptake, but also makes the textile lines clear.
Matters need attention
1)The alkali and the temperature have quite an effect on nylon, the technological parameter should be adjusted accordingly to avoide elasticity damage.
2)In the mercerizing process, the elimination should be controled to avoide the side-to-centre shading.
3)In the full width washing process, it is better to control the cloth speed and water speed, which can help to reduce puckering.
