Which Factors will Affect the Textile’s Shrinking Rate of Weft Yarn Weaving?

1.Fabric weave: inside the basic fabric weave, the more weaving points weft and warp yarn have, the larger shrinking rate in weft weaving, under the circumstance of same condition for other factors, the rank for weft yarn weaving shrinking rate is : plain > twill > satin.
2.Density and warp yarn count
①The higher warp density is, the more frequent warp yarn interweaving will be, and the higher the weft yarn weaving shrink rate is.
②The higher the warp yarn density is, the bigger flex wave height is in weft yarn weaving, the bigger shrinking rate in weft yarn.
3.Tensile force: when manufacturing, the more big tensile force on machine, the bigger flex wave height is in weft yarn weaving, the bigger shrinking rate in weft yarn.
4.The temperature and humidity on workshop: the higher temperature and humidity is, the easier the weft yarn shrinking, the bigger shrinking rate in weft yarn weaving.
5.Condition: after textile checking, and placed in finishing workshop in a time, because releasing the warp tensile, weft yarn extended, from weft yarn shrink rate calculating formula, we can get to know, weft yarn shrink rate is smaller than previous on weaving machine, fabric width become 0.5%~1.2% wider (polyester/cotton variety is lower, pure cotton variety is higher), i.e. on-machine weft yarn shrink rate is lower than off-machine weft yarn shrink rate.
